STRESS AND HEART DISEASE
It is yet to be proved conclusively that stress causes heart disease but doctors and medical researchers have found new evidence that stress may indeed be a cause for heart disease in humans. If a person is under high levels of stress, his blood pressure may shoot up, making the heart work harder each time when it pumps blood and oxygen. Stress also controls the way blood clots in the body. This increases the probability of heart attack in the person. Stress can be caused by physical or emotional change in the environment. We must adapt to the change immediately to reduce stress.
