Magnesium

The mineral which is absorbed by the body and transferred to the other parts is usually through the intestine. Almost one third to one and a half of the mineral consumed is used by the body as it absorbs them and utilizes it for its functions. There are few disorders which may not enable the intestine to absorb the required amount of magnesium by the body like gastrointestinal disorders that may cause crohn’s disease which may limit the body’s mineral level and may cause deficiency of the mineral. At an early stage these diseases may deplete the storage of the mineral in the body whereas at an extreme high stage the person may suffer from mineral deficiency.
